We always park the van nose first, so any thief will have to manoeuvre the van before hitching up. We also put the steadies down and remove the nose-wheel. Wheel locks and tow hitches are a must. We drain all water from the system (this includes the toilet cistern), and we store the caravan under cover. We also put a sonic mouse deterrent and mouse poison down. All the cushions are left in the caravan and we visit once a month th charge up the battery.
