WE HAVE A CARPETS IN OUR VAN AND A COUPLE OF RUGS,WE HAVE BEEN THINKING OF GETTING CUSHION FLOOR SO THAT IT IS EASILY WIPED OVER.WE DID THINK ABOUT LAMINATED FLOORING TOO.. WHAT DO YOU FIND IS BEST TO HAVE DOWN.

I think carpet is quieter and warmer but the trouble is getting all the grass off it at sites the cushion flooring is easier t clean off

Well got fed up of the runners we had in always curling up at the corner and getting the grass off so gone back to the cushion flooring it is less hassle.

I think that you should have a laminate floor and get yourself some loose carpets ...

HAVE STILL GOT THE CARPET DOWN ,WILL PROBABLY WAIT TILL THE END OF OCTOBER THEN DECIDE WHAT TO DO ABOUT THE FLOORING NOW..

Hi We use the protective 'cling film' on a small area of our carpet as you enter the caravan, its the type they use at the caravan dealers and you can buy it from them on a roll. It stays in place and is most useful when it is raining Ann (new member just joined)

Hi We bought a roll just after Christmas and I think it was around £9.00 for about 10 mtrs, (cant say for sure Im afraid). We're pleased with it as you can wipe it over and it does last quite a while before you have to replace it, so a roll would last a long time. Thanks for the welcome by the way Ann

HI ANN THANKS FOR THE TIP..I WAS GOING TO BUY ONE OF THEM PLASTIC RUNNERS BUT I SHALL LOOK INTO THE STUFF YOU MENTIONED..
THIS WEEKEND THE LITTLE RUGS I HAVE WERE GETTING ON MY NERVES AS THEY KEPT MOVING,I ONCE USED DOUBLE SIDED TAPE BUT WHEN I LIFTED THE RUGS TO RENEW THEM THE TAPE LEFT MARKS AND OF COURSE (JUST MY LUCK) THE NEW RUGS WERE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT SIZE ..LOL
