When we had a tent we used air beds. these were comfortable but in cold weather they tend to transfer the cold from the ground. There are several ways to improve this. The first is to get one of the roll up foam mats placed on top of the air bed they provide insulation. Second is to get one of the silver and foam things used to place over the window screen of the car on hot days when parked up for reflecting the sun. Placed under the air bed the help stop the cold from getting to the air bed.
