I have read all sorts of advice on various forums about laying up your TT, Caravan or FC for the winter and though a lot of it is the same there does seem to be a lot of conflicting advice. Some say remove all cushions beds etc and others say leave them. Some say remove the wheels and others don't.
What do you do for the winter ?

As we go in winter too, i just drain down the water works completely everytime, the van is at home and plugged in, so the heating is on.

We always park the van nose first, so any thief will have to manoeuvre the van before hitching up. We also put the steadies down and remove the nose-wheel. Wheel locks and tow hitches are a must.
We drain all water from the system (this includes the toilet cistern), and we store the caravan under cover.
We also put a sonic mouse deterrent and mouse poison down.
All the cushions are left in the caravan and we visit once a month th charge up the battery.
